VoiceJam Studio: Live Looper & Vocal Effects Processor App Reviews

Im hooked! This app is amazing!!! Im using it for business and pleasure. Its great for working out harmonies for a song in the most portable way, or if I wanna plug it into GarageBand and add sweet vocal effects to my songs. Beatboxing and creating vocal instrument loops on multiple layers with multiple effects is where it gets really fun!!! It took me a few minutes to get the hang of it, so I highly recommend going thru the interactive tutorial to learn the ins and outs first. Youll be recording phenomenal ideas in no time!!! This is a must have tool in your portable music creating toolbox.

Very inviting user interface and a fun little app to get the creative juices glowing. Very inspiring, excellent sounding effects presets and the video option is a nice bonus! Get loopy!

Just what I was looking for. Perfect for creating music on the fly. Fifty built in effects?! Wow! And yet I still want more! Just short of 5 stars because I cant access the separate tracks in Audiobus as described in the tutorial. Did that just get written in before it was implemented? Also, would like to be able to bounce (mix down) tracks if they are of equal length. And not being able to preset the track loop length makes it hard sometimes to accurately trigger and stop loops when Im holding an instrument. Still an amazing app.

This is great, a fun app and tool to have. The effects are awesome, would be cool to see some more percussion type effects too. Once you get going on it, its a lot of fun and cool for a different approach to writing and arranging as well. Great work TC…. Awesome!

Gotttaaaa Havvvvva Sommmme Funnnnnn, using the reverb, delay, pitch shifting and other great effects. Only reason why I am giving it 4 stars is I would like more "Delays" and some in-app purchases for more and more and more effects. Most of my Software & Hardware Effects Units have over 100 presets. Good start however, and yes I know how to spell, just having some fun with the opening of my review, like speaking through this app!

I just got this app. Ive seen others have the voice jam vocal version. Is that easier to use than the studio version? I guess I can do just as much with the studio version and more??? Would it benefit me to get the voice jam vocal version also?

This app is crazy addicting. I use it professionally for voice overs and it works great. Its also a lot of fun.

20 minutes in the car and song done. Really helps expand your creative side. I use it on the iPad mini and the screen has plenty of room. I have several products by TC Helicon and have not been disappointed yet.

Ive really been enjoying this app, it can really improve your voice! Sometimes I wish I could turn up the effects more as an option, a EQ would be a good option also! Its a great app!

Although the only thing I dont like is that you can save video+screen or just screen but not just video other than that its awesome.

Its great for ideas & using as a sketch pad, but because most the effects are really cheesy, I have to rate it lower. If you cannot sing & think the heavy pitch correction is cool, and that robot & Popeye voices are what you want to sound like, then maybe youll like it more. Give the ability to design presets and its a five star app.

They made it even better in the new version. Stunningly brilliant! I love it. It comes loaded with tons of vocal effects, 4 channels, overdub, import/export, and publish to soundcloud, YouTube, etc. Now it has a count in feature which make it much easier to get a clean start, or free up your hands and pick up a guitar track. So easy to sync up tracks now, its a dream! Amazing effects... Theyve loaded this puppy up! Tap tempo metronome, undo / redo feature, several playback modes, levels, pan, and filters. Im sure Im missing some of the features. But over all a lot of fun, and easy to use.

I so love this app! It is amazing how I can perform so many different sounds with my voice. But I simply cant stand the fact that I cant cut or trim my tracks. If its a little bit off, I should be able to cut that part off, but I have to start over instead. This NEEDS a cut or trim setting!.

This application is great but it will not let me render videos into my photofile. I would give five stars if they could fix this problem.

Love the new portrait layout. Its more functional for the iPhone. Could still be a bit more tweakable though.

Problem Im having has to do with saving/loading a session. First file saved doesnt appear to have been saved or deleted. Tried over and over again to load and while the session file is there, when I do press it, theres no session or any action from the press; completely inactive. So I tried to delete the first session to no avail. Created a second session and saved as. That one saves fine and plays okay. It also deletes all the while the first session just sits there - inactive.

So far it sounds very good as far as digital recording goes .

After watching the PETEBOX video of this app, I knew Id have to give it a try. Being a Beatboxer and musician Ive always wanted a loop machine to create my own unique sound. Sadly, never had the funds for the all of the technology that goes with it (amps loop pedal, microphone, etc.). Luckily, Thanks to the TC- helicon app, I no longer have to worry about having to spending a bunch of money. for $3.99 I have everything I need! After messing around with the app for a few days, I must say that I am very satisfied with the amount of control a user has with this app. You are able to make awesome music with all kinds of effects(that are adjustable) and you are able to have up to eight tracks that can loop multiple sounds. I am incredibly pleased with this app and look forward to what it will bring in the future. For any musician, especially beatboxers, if youre looking for a great loop machine that produces amazing results, look no more. Youve found it.

I use this app solely for the effects, BUT its no running or operating right thru audio bus or iaa on my iPad Air 2 with the latest updated system and app. Maybe ableton link is in the near future or a quick fix to this problem.
